Media class wins award and receives honorable mention at Castlton College Video Fest 2011!!

BRHS Media Studies Class attended the Castleton State College Videofest on Friday May 6, 20011.

Four videos were submitted to the contest and they received one award and two honorable mentions!

The Outstanding Production Value Award was given to “Vivid Realism” by Vincent Guerrera, Willy Crawford, Jared Harlow and Jesse Gillette. Vincent and Willy were the media studies students who spearheaded this video. “The judges enjoyed this video for its creative use of editing and camera angles”.

Honorable Mention in the Documentary category was “What is Art” by Rachel Karner, Letty Mauriello and Phoebe Tucker. Rachel and Letty were the media students involved in this project with Phoebe contributing a cello soundtrack.

Honorable Mention in the Public Service Announcement category was “What is Cool” by Emily Hammond, Anna Sanford and Jacob Covell.

Congratulations to all of the participants for their hard work and outstanding recognition.
